Thank you for this TheVulong. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there but I was away due to family commitments. Great interview and very interesting. I love the idea of implementing the lore into the game more in future development. The discussion on the HUD seemed productive. Great points on the air compressor and I definitely agree that the new team should play the old client or at least take in some of the old video footage out there to see just how immersive HAWKEN used to be. Great news regarding a tournament server in the EU too and I love that the team seem so committed to the EU scene. 

 

Great job guys, you all showed exceptional knowledge of the game. It was clear that you gave [HWK]CapnJosh a great deal to think about.

It was nice to hear some thoughtful discussion and to see valuable dev engagement.  They really do seem to want to dig into the zeitgeist of the earlier stages in Hawken's development; encouraging.  Also good to hear from the devs that such engagement won't be as US-centric as perhaps things may have become under the previous administration.

 

Kinda wish I was sat in on that chat; reminiscent of the vim and vigour of the very early days!  Well done, chaps.
