A couple days ago ( at 3AM- sleep is for the weak.... ), my PC speakers suddenly started buzzing very loudly, didn't stop by muting them, had to unplug them at the mains. Opened them up the next day and had a look, only thing I could see wrong was a slightly bulging power supply cap ( 25v 6800uf ). Did a bit of googling ( 'amplifier buzzing' ) and it seems the most common cause was indeed a failed power cap, the big sucker(s) I noticed was bulging in my case too ( speakers are Microlab Solo 1C ). Ordered a nice Nichicon cap of the same spec, it arrived just now so I desoldered the old one and soldered in the new one, 5 minute job at most. Plugged the speakers back in and...

...working perfectly again. Life is good. :)

I managed to steal the bubble wrap from some package 2 weeks ago, and now have breached every bubble.

I feel kinda awesome about that.

I have been continiously breathing for a WHOLE DAY and I actually managed to read this while i DID THE SAME THING!

But no, I digress. I finally managed to decide between toiletpaper facing or un-facing the wall.

The last time I moved, I lost my security deposit due to a dirty AC and water heater - AZ laws allow for this - so this time around I cleaned both of them myself. No easy feat: washed the coils of the ac off while inside an attic @120degrees, carefully avoiding water spray elsewhere. Water heater was easier : shut off power, shut of water, open drain, remove lower heating element, attach drain pipe, and spray the funny buzzy out of it. That sucker coated half of the garage floor with calcium deposits.
But I got my deposit back.

I like going against the best of any game I play. Helps you in the long run n motivates u to do more. Always room for improvement not failure

How can this be a choice? There is only one true way!
