So I'm suddenly having issues on the TS, I cannot change channels from the Drop Zone and I'm getting the "insufficient client permissions (failed on b_channel_join_permanent)" error when trying to do so.

 

It used to work correctly before, I do have mic enabled and am on the latest Teamspeak build. Looking up the error apparently I have to be given permission by an admin?

If it happens to you, do this:

 

Due to the latest events occurring on the TS, you now require an admin to assign you a server group before you can move freely between channels.  Hit any admin up on TS and they'll get it sorted.  Sorry, implemented late last night due to chatspammers and hackers.

This was changed last night, you have to be moved by an admin.

That's bizarre. Did you reinstall or something? I'm at work and I don't think I can access permissions on mobile. When will you be online until?

Alright, thanks for the heads up. Is there an hour range during which admins are usually on TS to contact them?

After 4pm EST for NA is pretty reliable. Silverfire is on now, I think.

Silverfire gave me the appropriate permissions and it's back to normal, so if anybody stumbles into this thread with the same issue just message an admin in TS.

I can't use TS and still use my joystick. TS makes my joystick driver constantly turn left. WTF?

 

TS loses that fight, I love playing Hawken on joystick.

 

I'd love a mumble server alternative.
