KINDOS I fuzzy bunnyng knew it. Couldn't have made a better one myself although I'm a little sad the crushed retarded dolphin chassis release didn't make an appearance.

 

PS: the IRC circlejerk is going to take this entirely the wrong way (or the right way maybe) but for like 2 years Hitler reacts was my favourite meme I was so on top of that stuff it was all I ever watched on youtube

I'd like to say that this feels pretty weird to watch as a german. But hey, I think it is about time to show the world that we Krauts have overcome and can laugh about our past again.

Yeah same here, but I found it weird to watch without subs as well. Never was sure if it was supposed to be some dark comedy with Donald Duck cast as Hitler.

Russians had losses 50 to 1 compared to finns. They neither had the nessesary equipment to fight with finnish army nor the properly trained soldiers - it was a blind rush. They quit attacking Finland even before 1939. At least that's what my memory sais. It can lie sometimes, I don't rely on it that much.

I wasn't going to talk about war history but here we go.
That's "winter war" you are thinking about and that's about right, it took place 39-40 winter. Although casuality ratios were more like 1:5...
Continuum war took place 41-44 and things were quite a bit gloomier then from finnish perspective, russians had got their fuzzy bunny together by then. Finland had ~500k troops, germany helped with ~220k troops. Russia had about 1.5M troops. Casuality ratios were something like 1:3. Big thing was also that Finland got a lot of material support like panzerfausts and help from luftwaffe. The great shame for finns about this is that we actually invaded Russia over our old borders for a while. It would have been a hopeless battle for finns without germans, although Finland kind of stabbed them from behind in the end when russia promised us peace if we drove all germans out of Finland.
This resulted in Finland-Germany war called "war of Lapland" or something. This a different story though.
