Firstly I would like to point out that this is in no way a dig at any clans....

 

think of that area that displays you mech, now stretch that and have more mechs... on display or being prep'd for battles

a Table or two where the pilots are sitting around playing cards or discussing tactics smoking stogies...

 

Banners fluttering in the drafts of air conditioned and moving machinery...

 

 

 

But yeah i was thinking ( brace for it )

Hawken Clan structure NEEDS ::

 

Imagine a clan Garage...

 

where the clan members can donate MC to buy mechs and equipment that they can allow other NEW clan members to use much like a test drive mech....

 

A place where instead of blowing each other up, we could all sit around and talk.

 

I would personally offer to MAKE this end of the game with Ue3 - Ue4 myself if there was enough desire,

 

almost every other game has some means of "clan" system built in, Warframe, Tera, Neverwinter, so forth and so on...

 

as the game already charges clans for their servers.... there would be very little extra cost to adding an out of mech area where clans can talk and have meets...

 

WHY ADV did you not think of this?

 

Personally, I think we need and deserve this...

but IN GAME, as in, avatars sitting around the garage talking bout each others mechs and smoking virtual cigars,

 

sadly alot of players ( mostly new ones ) dont USE the forums etc etc...

 

adding this to the INGAME experience would help bridging that gap imo

 

alt+tabbing or logging out to check a web page is... well it feels just weird, you dont have to do that in most other games

This is a great idea DCUO has a similar structure with their "hideouts and apartments".  You could make it based off the Clan servers or something ....

Would love to see a clan hall that is more or less like fightclub spectator areas with more cool stuff.
Then your clan can easily have duels for all to watch.
I like the idea of a clan garage where all mechs are on testdrive for use in the duelling area.
I like to see a clan paintshop where clan members can get clan specific emblems and paintschemes.
Clan logo banners on the wall.
An EU tower just for disco bling
etc

Obviously clan servers are then just private servers with restricted entry (and clans should pool MC to have a clan hall server)

what is the reason you play game for ?  if there are troller , bad server ( i mean low mmr people and bad server performance) , few population .we didn't give up , we are here from Alpha 2012.still we do hope but don't know what Devs are doing ! Stomping or get trolled isn't fun to play , may be for you yes :(

Maybe once the developers are able to push out regular updates, but I would not make this a high priority. Clan garages and general clan support IMHO is needed to enhance the existing gaming experience in Hawken, but the general Hawken experience just isn't what it should be to support / justify a lot of clan related extras. At least not yet.

Clan garages would also draw people away from the forums (pretty slow nowadays) and from the servers (further hurting MM by decreasing the number of people seeking / playing on servers).

The first step would be to write "Clan Tags" and a "Create Clan" feature into Hawken.  If they start on that today, the Xbox One version will have it by mid 2017.  (just ribbing you Reloaded, nothing personal)
