That sucks, Sparky! Get well, man! I know how it's like to brake a leg(or both) and it ain't pretty at all. Well, since your recovery time is merely six weeks, at least it means the bone damage isn't all that great nor critical. In my case, I was stuck at home for five months for the first time and three months for the second time.

 

 So hey, at least take a comfort in knowing that yours is not the worse case scenario ^_^

I actually kickstarted MegaBots, but they did not reach their goal. :(
Another interesting thing is, that I posted about it to the HWK steam community discussions but the thread got almost instantly closed.

You mean the closed thread? The mod never gave me a reason. It is not a big deal. I guess it is because it was not closely related to HAWKEN and more likely because it was advertising a 3rd party business. I can understand if that is the case.

Edit: I am not sure if you guys are checking the CA google calender I created. So to be sure, I will be away from my PC the second half of next week. I will be at the hackerspace camp.

I never knew they started opening those out of France, that's awesome! I followed the opening of the first one in Paris, they initially made them to broadcast Starcraft II tournaments but branched into more games after. They opened two esports bars in my city a bit later and I heard plans of expanding to Montreal and the UK before I stopped following SCII as much, it's so cool that they are having success with the model.

Sometimes I feel like I am oversharing (this and the polar oposite are typical in the scene) so this is why I am only using it to tell you guys that I am AFK. You guys are free to put your own availability in it so it can be actually useful to plan.

Well guys,
the MRI results came back and it turns out I don't need surgery as there was no damage that would constitute the need for one.
Hurrah! That means I can attend the scrims and practices again, right?

Well,

no unfortunately..
 

Tomorrow, I'll be leaving for two weeks to stay in a villa in Lanzarote in the canary islands.
The likelihood of me having internet over there is basically zero.


So gents, I wish you all an epic two weeks without me!
