what we did last night.

it started as a wild ride with srd of 2105 in 668111 bots-tdm, and ended with an bot mmr high of 6500.  just peek at the chat box for the progresion to an srd in the 3000 4000s.

it was dynamite fun!. :yes:

btw: we played for about 6 games, and it just escalated.  it seemed like the bot skillz were starting to deteriorate once the srd exceeded 3000mmr.  but we still got whipped good and hard (normal lurkers have 1400-2000 mmr).

i didnt think bot matchs affected you mmr...

They're not supposed to. I played a few rounds with morty last night, and his mmr did nothing but go up. SRD peaked out at 11000 mmr. Yes, those zeros are correct.

Also, idk about the ai. It got super accurate, but still wouldn't chase.

6v6 on the smaller facility map is fun, btw.

I noticed on the Bunker map on one occasion they got really good, with one successful repetitive method:

Dethball the center of our team

Isolate one or two mechs, using 2 or 3 C-frames for supressive fire on the remainder of our team.

Stomp the living krap out of the hapless victims, singled out and erased with 100% hit-reg/accuracy.

Repeat until everyone is busy respawning

Move to our team's newly spawned position, and form up the next Dethball.

 

I believe we lost that round at something like 22-40. against bots. gawd.

Devs! Please!

follow-up:  i played tpg-2 server with some really fun people, and took my 10k mmr slug in to grind it down to 1 or 2k mmr so i could join matches. woops.

now i'm -3155mmr.  that's a minus in there.

and i thot 1052mmr was bad 4 years ago. heh. now i likely hold the highest and lowest mmr recorded ever, in Hawken!
