Just changing cap to Scout doent make picure more intresting :)
in case you didn't notice, I didn't attach a logo to it. as in I wanted to share this with the community, not remind them who made it.
also, I drew the whole damn thing. a quick sketch. 10 min tops.

After a quick review of your recent threads, it seems you are in a better position to answer that question than ask it.
As for the OP, I'm trying to decide if it would be better or worse if the character looked more mech-ish. My initial thought was that the pistol needed to look more like flak and that the guy needed mech feet but now I'm not so sure.

As for the OP, I'm trying to decide if it would be better or worse if the character looked more mech-ish. My initial thought was that the pistol needed to look more like flak and that the guy needed mech feet but now I'm not so sure.
Mech feet definitely, not sure about the flak. Maybe a blunderbuss? The TOW strapped on the arm is pretty cartoonish and a blunderbuss would fit.

Maybe a cartoony heat cannon would fit the vibe better. Could probably just add that silly little muzzle brake thing and taper the barrel a bit on the flint lock as it is.

Me likey, but I feel as if he needs two jugs of hooch strapped to both sides of his head...
Which in turn leaves the face open for a lovely, crazed expression, in addition to leaving the TOW arm free for being flailed around a bit.

lol. I was attempting to go for a sawed off shotgun, and I have gotten my proportions wrong
