i hope C05 continues to post here, but it looks grim.  if i was a normal gamer looking at this i'd say the whole heap was Tanking.

edit:  i give it less than 18 months. and that is fat.

     there are about 4 really nice Steam little mech style, steel, and mecha games out there now. sorta rough and hard to play, but fun.

Being redirected to 505 for support does not equate to c05 being laid off. It means that the devs are referring to their publisher for support. Even ADH did this. The op is being a troll.

If it means better response times (and yes, I've already submitted my fair share of support tickets to 505 Games - response time has been stout thus far), then I'm not complaining.

 

What's a little confusing is 505 Games isn't the listed publisher for the PC version (according to their own site). What's more, their main support site still doesn't mention PC (Steam) for Hawken anywhere... To be fair, I spoke with them already on this matter, and they said they are still working on transitioning everything over.

 

Nevertheless, before we had devs substituting as CSRs - now maybe they can focus on doing their own job, and letting actual CSRs help out.

As much as I like the kind of info that a Dev can put into a forum post (when they manage to post an update)... I prefer that they put that effort into the coding ;)

 

I hope that this just means that people can do the work that they do best, with fewer delays.

I was referring to the devs handling ticket responses - not public announcements via the forums here.

Just for the sake of pointing it out, while folks are discussing it, there is nowhere in the recent PC build (that I've seen) where one can see "ReLoaded".  The new PC build even starts with "505 Games".

 

It seems likely that the website people just haven't got around to updating the sites yet.

 

Also, is it beyond the realm of possibility that the Hawken dev team simply works for 505 Games now, instead of Reloaded?  I mean, if I were a publisher who was buying the rights to a game that was still under development, I'd probably want to keep the same team mostly in place.
