You'll be engaged by an enemy well outside your effective range of fire who will be able to see you coming from a mile away and outrun you once he feels his position is in danger, but only AFTER pounding the fuzzy bunny out of you as you close distance. If you try to take the flanking route behind cover, he'll just bail immediately and probably be off your radar before you can even get to his original location. He can't run forever, but neither can you chase forever.
