Warnig to all you people who always get top 3, this does not apply to you, it is middle and lower ranked players mostly, if you think the rate is fine but you always score top 3, please try to grind purposfully at rank 5 and see how well it treats you, thats the best some of us can do with assult classes.

my numbers are estemates

I think they're alright for the game literally coming into OB last night. No grind, no challenge.

I think the prices are ok, just gimme some more credits after a match, round about 100hc for every match arent enough. but this is just my opinion of the situation.

The problem with this poll it that i feel mechs are good but items are too high.

I'm not voting until there is an additional option for that.

$5 for a mech isn't a lot. $5 in general isn't a lot of money, so I figure in my opinion, that it's reasonable. Lol. People just want stuff handed to them! Work for something.

I like it how it is, I don't even find it grindy.. You can just enjoy blowing stuff up in pubs and earn while you do it. That works for me.

Worst case if something came out that I desperately wanted and didn't want to grind (new mech, skin,, etc) I'd shell out some cash. I like the game enough and as long  as I feel I'm getting my money's worth i'll pay.

If nothing catches my eye, well I'll just keep playing and slowly buy up everything over time while leveling and enjoying each mech.

If you are always ranked last spend a few euro's...
If you are always top 3 grind it out.

These are options.

Nothing worse then outplaying a game within 1 week and have nothing to aim for anymore.

Well....
I think you need to spend more time playing instead of posting on forums.
If you say that you are not good with the assault mecha ... well... i'm afraid you will be really disappointed when you'll change mech.
Assaulter is an easy and solid mech to play.
Others mechs tend to be really hard to play. Some have primary weapons that require some practice before dealing some serious damage.

So.. don't think that with a different mech you will play better.

Anyway. I suppose mechs prices are fine as they are.
They only need to reduce the equipment costs. Imho.

This is just my thoughts on this but i tend to grind it out thinking "this is way better than mechwarrior" but recently i was thinking about pour some cash into the game to advance a bit in the game.

Oh and when i started playing i just plai sucked with the assault type because im a sharpshooter all the way so if your not compatible with your setup try someithing your used too.

$5 for a new mech is cheap though if they could add like a camo trial for a week or something temporary as an added that would be nice

I think that $5 is actually a great price for a new mech.

Maybe reduce the cost of your first mech purchase_  I can bet there will be bundles down the line as well.

Mech costs, all through CB, used to be 9200 MC or 1030 MP. You guys are actually already getting a discount on that basis.

Agree that Item and Internal costs are too damn high, though (not to be confused with the "Rent is Too Damn High" political party in New York State).

At least increase the rate of credits your earn per match, mass grinding for hours isn't exactly a fun thing to do, and that is heavy on the playerbase for new players like me, lower the price for your first mech purchase, and increase the rate of credits earned per match, now that is satisfyingly fun.

Welcome to Free-To-Play! You either pay with money and get convenience, or you pay with time and have to play for longer.

The costs of the mechs in my opinion is just right.  In 5 hours of play with a good average of 1.5% kill death ratio I earned enough credits to level my main mech to 25, get the 4500 prize weapon and get another mech to level up.

P.S. the Vulcan is deffenitly nerfed. I see very little difference between the vulcan 25 level prize weapon to the assult rifle so you can use the money/hawken points you have earned and get another mech instead of getting the vulcan weapon.

EDIT:
Just noticed that my Kill death ratio was 2.89% not 1.5%

You can earn about 130 HC per match easily.  That means you have to play only about 50 games to unlock a mech.  25 with a boost.  $10 gets you two mechs; a mech, a useable item, and an internal; or 5 internals; or 2 internals and 2 usable items.

Those are all REALLY good values and the meteor points are priced to leave you with no change, which is really REALLY nice.  Play any other free to play and buy currency and you'll be left with unusable change.  I'm really surprised and happy that adhesive didn't do this.

It's also partially because a level 25 mech will have an improved AR and the vulcan will be new, unleveled they're pretty balanced imo.
