The first game I ever played was some strange phonics game on a macintosh dont know the name. The games that I can actually remember though,super mario world for snes. Dont know what the oldest would be though,ive played a lot of old games. I think the furthest back I can go would be c-64 era right now. Dont know how but I ended up with four of them.
Losing his grip on reality..._
I have seen it estimated...somewhere between death and birth.
That there are now 3 thousand million people living on this earth.
And the stockpiled mass destruction of the nuclear powers that be.
Equals for each man or woman 20 tons of TNT.

Aside from the C128 and before that I guess some kind of Snake on a green screen Epson, my first real PC game was probably The Secret Of Monkey Island. Of course pirated (Aarrr!) with that photocopied copy protection wheel:

Feel like a baby, first PC game was the first Dawn of War. Oldest I've played is likely Marathon when it went open-source.

Everything played on a Win98 PC in 1999 ... for those who know how old I am, do the maths and look when I started playing video games ... xd.

<snip>
That *fuzzy bunny your pants* moment in Doom when you hear the roar of a cyberdemon you didn't know was there. Good times :)

Many of the classics I still play. There's very little that's come out since that is better for good clean fun. Take your pick:

X-COM games. So many days of my life eaten by them. And that was just a Shipping Route mission in TFTD.

The first I remember playing on DOS was Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure... released 1992.

The other early ones included Mech Warrior 2 (of course), some Sonic game, Monster Truck Madness, Need For Speed, Wacky Wheels, Heavy Gear, Super Mario, Donkey Kong Country...

Those are the few that I recall atm before Pokemon, AvP 2, Super Smash Bros and Ocarina of Time. Oh and of course Age of Empires II.
