So, what weapon is better_ For me, it feels like Hawkins-RPR is far better then AM-SAR. Anyone had a great experience with AM-SAR_

I like the AM-SAR, I just like having something semi automatic vs full. But, TBH, Hawkins-RPR is probably better

Hawkins-RPR seems to be more useful at mid-close range. AM-SAR excels in accuracy, so it could be better weapon for SS. Still looking for other opinions :).

Nah, if you wanna make use of the potential of Power Shot, you gotta use Slug with the SS ... if you aren't ... well that's just silly then

Seems you are right.
Though I have seen lots of reapers with AM-SAR, but almost none with Hawkins-RPR.

I got to level 12 with my Reaper and I'm still using the AM-SAR, again, its just about the feel of it, or people haven't noticed the changed level bonus system XD

i favor the AM-SAR, nice allrounder, and fits well with the Sabot. Hawkins-RPR is kinda useless for any kind of range.

I found Hawkins-RPR much better for mid-close battles. It's just easier to use, isn't it_

I don't know. SA hawkins ripper seems a little bit more powerful an easy to use as I watched many reapers using it.

AM-SAR is a much more versatile weapon than the Ripper. The AM-SAR can be used at variable ranges where the ripper is really only god for short range close combat. But then the AM-SAR can also do close combat the only thing is you have to click your mouse more.

I like the feel of the Ripper more since I'm not fond of clicking M1 wildly to fire a semi-auto, but I wouldn't be surprised if the AM-SAR ends up as mathematically superior either. That said, I'll stick with the Ripper unless the gap between the two is more massive than personal experience has led me to believe.

It was fun while it lasted.

I did not voted yet because I have not had the opportunity to level my Repaer and try out the Hawkins-RPR yet.

SAR > RPR imo

The RPR has very little dps, which is understandable given it's rate of fire. But either the dps/rof needs slightly adjusted or it's heat levels need to be nerfed. I can get triples with the SAR, I only get 1 kill before I overheat with the RPR

According to stats-in-progress, the RPR has about 77DPS. If you're scoped, the AM-SAR has about 90DPS, but if you're not it's around 48DPS.

I am guessing that if you're a top-tier player (no problems staying perma-scoped even at very close range), AM-SAR will be better in almost all situations. If you're not, I'd expect RPR will be clearly better for close range combat.

Have you noticed that the RPR does no damage whatsoever to a turret mode c-class_ :D

I actually did. A turret mode C-class it's a problem to an average reaper, since it doesn't has powerful weapons.

If you know where to be and know how to use the ability in combination, the AM-SAR makes great support/ long range metal shredder.
