I'd just like to remind everyone that the devs have stated they have no intention of introducing melee combat (as in, swing your arm and bash that Infil) to Hawken, and I haven't heard anything different lately. The patch notes would say "NOW WITH MELEE COMBAT" if they were, because that's a huge balance change.

Well, technically the "death from above" fall damage thingy is melee, like a drop kick, so we're half way there.

ALSO, it is 1:00AM, where is the info and patch!!!!!

I myself am concerned with the missing alert and banner, I've been waiting all day for some info.  In previous patches they would put them in place at least 24 hours before they deployed a patch.  Maybe everyone is too busy or backlogged and forgot with the recent convention they did.  It just might be that they found a major issue and have to delay.  It certainly seems like it from the nonexistent alerts.  I hope I am wrong.

They work on Pacific Time (-8GMT), so I would not expect any news from them for at least 2 more hours. They'll probably take the servers down at around 2-5PM PST to do the update.
