i'll export the UI i made for the wallpaper =P

SandSpider do you have an even higher resolution of your maps _

Ummm, how big do you want them_

If available, the higher the better ! so maybe we can make some close-up or little zoom view, like this :

IIRC Illal has a moon mentioned in the comic book and there was even a hint about a moon map in the game files.

I would say that Illal has at least one moon that is habitted. But i want to say that it has a few smaller ones just to make it feel more exotic. Also if I remember rite, the novel never specified how many suns it had ;) I am rooting for a binary star system.

I think it would be fun to have other star systems as well to make a really cool universe

Yeah, more than one moon would be nice, ironically I made a model of Illal with two moons but then dropped the idea. I think I'll put it back now. Nice idea.  A binary star system sounds great. That would also increase the size of the habitable zone.

It would be awsome if you could do somthing with the planet I described as well.

I agree! Hmmmmm, where could it go_ Perhaps a moon. A moon covered mainly with liquid water, lots of sea life. It would probably have to be somewhere in the habitable zone, and not too far out for the water to remain liquid. Well, I guess Illal can have three moons. I'll try it out in Universe Sandbox to see if it will work.

Ok, so I ran a few simulations with a third moon the size of Venus, and it wasn't very pretty.  In all three simulation, the other two moon were ejected and only Illal and the third moon survived. It seems that the gravitational interactions between a planet the size of Earth and two moons the size of Mars and Venus, with a third smaller one are just too much. So, I'm up for suggestions.

Bump Illal out a bit and have it a bit closer in to the suns. With no moons and a little more mass than earth

because bow ties are cool

There's a problem with that, Illal has at least one moon. Also there are only six planets in the system and they are all already accounted for. Adding another planet won't fit. Also, having three planets in the habitable zone would mean that they would be to close together and their gravities would interact causing some major problems.

New star system_ Neighbor star system_ If that's the case I can give an approximate mass of the planet of 1.75 x earth mass with no moon but a ring system. (Yes it's possible to have rings).

I made the texture in Paint Shop Pro, then I made the planet in Bryce 7. I rendered 90 separate frames, then made the animation in Animation Shop, which came with Paint Shop Pro.

I hope that makes sense.

I would love to read the graphic novel, unfortunately I'm unable to afford it.
Read the comic series! Its free on Comixology!!!

Set me ablaze atop a ice-capped mountain, hit me in the face with a stop-sign, kick me off the cliff.

I didn't click this thread before now.

(I think it would be cool if Illal had rings, but I don't know if that fits with the lore. And it may just be me thinking that.)
