By the way i'm reading again the graphic novel and found that Ilal "solar system" is composed of 6 planets including Ilal
theses planet are not infected (yet_), but might host some colonies similar to Ilal too, so SandSpider if you want you can imagine/create thoses planets as well  as there not much info about them (still digging), you can free your imagination on their look and even their names =)

Very nice. This is shaping up very nicely. If any one wants advice on planet design I can help. I enjoy thinking of alien worlds and other space stuff. I am a huge sci fi fan.
