It'll be the old client, that way everyone who didn't get in on the playtest will be updated as well.

That was just to keep things separate, there's no need to do that when it's going live. If there's going to be a new version of the launcher then the old client will download and update to that. It doesn't make sense to confuse things.
The client that was used for the playtest was just the HAB 2 client with a small patch applied, they just gave everyone permissions to use it.

***UPDATE 1***

We are still working on deploying the HAWKEN: Ascension update. However, we are expecting services to remain unavailable past the original estimated end time of 5:00PM. In the meantime, any players that participated in the Community Playtest will be able to continue playing.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
