The first email i have is from Oct. 2012. Maybe it was alpha, there was only 2 stages one with no textures.

I may have missed it somewhere but is there a reason that the first nugget of comp support we get in months is limited to the American servers_

Definitely isn't seniority order, I only made an account and started playing last week, and I go my key around 2:30 central US time.

Haven't had enough time to browse through this entire thread, and excuse me if I missed an answer to this but ...

So cool, Hawken is on steam now, and I am waiting for some sort of activation code in my email .. however, what of my current/old Hawken account_ Does that code link my Steam account to it, or is there a link for that_ And if not, where is my account i went all through early Alpha, beta to the present, leveld up, bought Mech's and spent real life cash on_

You didn't have to browse the entire thread. You just had to click the FAQ. But it's okay, we won't judge. There's still time.

Installed new video card (old one was failing), got key, installed Steam in Wine (Linux).

Well just played for 40 mins and I have say I like it, only you die in two hits. Well there be some ajustments to this_ because I can't see a new player playing this they will get hammered and not play long. I been playing for over a year now and I get hammered, so a new player will not live long enought to enjoy it.
