Some may disagree but I'm of the opinion that this map is by far the one most badly in need of an update. That chokepoint at the top is horrendous and flanking around it takes ages. The teams' spawn areas are so large that they are basically able to engage each other less than a second after the match begins. The jump pad in the main pit was a good band-aid when it was added but doesn't solve most of the map's mobility problems. The highway gives a massive advantage to the team with the high ground, there are too many you-will-die-if-you-go-here killzones to avoid, the library area is under-utilized and while I'm on a rant, the whole place is just plain ugly. It's been over a year. Let's get this place fixed already.

EDIT: I looked at some of the proposed fixes and added some of my own.

Just park Uptown at the end of the queue, it can fit nicely in behind Bazaar (scrapped for siege mode), Bunker and Last Eco (just to name a few).

I like Uptown the way it is... :mellow: (but I'm open minded for discussions on how to improve it)

Why not tape uptown under bunker_  Then bunker will have an "underground" part.

Leave uptown the way it is, but create new maps respecting wishes of the community. (and nooo not something like bunker .... this map is just too simple and still requiers a bunker)

I think Uptown is too big and the environment would have to be changed, also needs some work and time :/

Add a wardrobe leading to Bunker from the back of the library and add some Goatmen to Bunker :)

Before we fix uptown, we have to fix updog first.
After disabling signatures I found my forum-browsing experience had improved marginally.

It's true, putting an access route directly to the upper level from the highway would solve about 50% of this map's problems. I like most of those other additions as well.

I like most of the proposed changes. Seems like each area needs at least 3 ways of entering/retreating that aren't too close together. Most of those redesigns seem to have that in common
