(Though FYI, you can ask any forum veteran or even the developers and they will tell you I played the Alpha extensively)

RazorDawg, yes, parties fuzzy bunny with matchmaking currently.
There are two solutions to this.
Remove parties.
Fix matchmaking.
Removing parties would absolutely kill this game. I for one refuse to play without my friends because maybe 1 in 20_ 1 in 50_ games have a player in them other than me that uses their microphones. Communication with your team is absolutely critical for winning. And hell, I simply would rather play a game that encourages cooperation with friends than without. Games like TF2 don't even need party systems, as they don't use random matchmaking. Joining a server with your friend in it is really easy, and it's easy to stay on your friend's team in that game. In Hawken it would be a huuuge pain in the ass to play with my friends and stay on their team constantly. I for one would have played an hour or two and quit. As I'm sure many others in this thread agree, removing parties would mean uninstalling the game.
As I recall, I quit playing WoT because of the limitations placed on the party system. If Hawken is doing anything right, it's the party system.

Matmaking is currently completely screwy. The game is in beta, though, and this is being fixed. Forcing no gamestart without complete teams would be a start. A penalty for leaving/a competitive mode in which a penalty for leaving is enforced would be great.

You're saying that people are quitting the game because of it, but offer no proof. You say that you have over a thousand hours in the game, but offer no proof. You personally attack others who you're arguing with in an attempt to establish some sort dominance. You attempt to invalidate other's opinions on the game because of a supposed lack of experience on a topic which requires only 2 or 3 games to be able to establish an opinion on.

Eh_ I'm more of a newcomer to this place, so obviously i haven't seen that many toxic threads, but i say it's definatly a lot less than on Warframe, seriously, i could probably name a couple of users who were downright fuzzy bunny.

However if you really want a toxic cesspool of a forum, go look at Mechwarrior Online Forums. They literally created another forum category that they throw all the flame wars in. It's that toxic.
