I think I spent less than $150, $50 was from a code though that I got from buying an nvidia card, and I think I got another $50 for trading my WOT for another hawken code.

ive lost count of how much money ive spent on the game, yesterday i added 30$ in credits, so i have probably spend between 70$ to 100$ in the two months ive been playing, i dont mind though, the devs deserve every penny.

I have spent money on skins in this game for the following reasons.

1.) High Fashion



2.) Because even this guy makes money from his "art"

This is the first game that made me spend money because I wanted to.  I don't normally shell out money (pun intended) but this game was so good, that I got the Prosk package to support the devs and to get myself a Manguard and an Infiltrator.   Still trying to rank up my Incinerator, but I'm sure I'll get to my Manguard and Infil soon.  Other than that, I play for free on everything else.

400 hours, all 16 mechs (no G2 mechs) at rank 6, fully loaded with internals and items, have nearly all the weapons (just missing 4 of them, but 5 now I guess, with the addition of the Tech prestiege) and I've never spent a dime on this game. However, I plan to change that in the future so I can have bobble heads and cups of noodles in my mechs. Plus, it's pretty clear that I love this game to death, so I feel no reason not to spend some money on this game.

i dont pay for betas...but if the game is final one day , i ll for sure buy it or spend some money on cosmetics...

I bought some MC to make my breadator look strong breadator. My foes will have nightmares of my splash attacks.

I put in 50 or 60 bucks and half of that was the Nemesis package.

Every time somebody tries to tell me the game is a little P2W I point them towards a carousel screenshot of some veteran in his rank 6 elited-out Fred MVPing in a room full of 1440mc mechs. It's grindy sure, I still think the HC economy could stand to be loosened up a bit, but its not pay 2 win. Not when someone who is genuinely good at the game can just log on and waltz all over people in baby's first mech.

People are so used to this P2W stigma that they don't see the genuine article when its looking at them. If someone can kick your head in with a starter mech, that's pretty much definitive proof that the game isn't pay 2 win. Buy an air compressor and some detonators and level up enough to unlock the SMC and Fred will take on the world. Also, as ADH makes more accessories global, the effective value of your MC goes up  as all the stuff you bought on 1 mech becomes available on all of them, so the cash you did spend on buying drones, thrusters, and paint is actually appreciating.

Until ADH designs a mech that is somehow immune to TOW rockets, and it can only be unlocked with MC, then the game is fine for free players and free-to-payers.

I will spend some money now that theres universal paint and drones.  I've felt really bad that I haven't supported the creators, but very impressed at how much fun and success I've had for free.
