Hi!
I am new to this game, and I don't have a lot of FPS. So, I am here to ask if anyone knows how to get more FPS for the latest Hawken.

Additional information:
I use Windows 8.1 and I don't want to buy ANYTHING to get more FPS.

Search "Plasticine Hawken" its a .ini mod that lowers all detail and quality to bare minimum. I play with it, only way my computer can run Hawken smoothly. Otherwise, Google performance boosts for your computer, there are a few ways to set it up to maximize gaming ability.

BE WARNED: Most of what you will find are going to be minor tweaks to help, if you won't spend money then there's nothing that will work a miracle for you, know what I mean_

Well, what are your specs_ (You can use programs like "Speccy" if you don't know how to get detailed information about your PC components.) Posting only the OS version isn't helpful at all.

This is a incorrect Statement. I run windows 8.1 with the computer specs listed in my signature. I play Hawken on Highest Resolution, Ultra Graphics Settings & Everything Enabled With Vsync and I always stay at 60fps. It just depends on the type of specs you are running. I am running high end specs.

link on my current *.ini (working 6 days)

it's my old config + some parts from ker4u config (ker4u disable some smoke effect and this version less drop fps in fight)

after u change cfg, turn off VSync in game options (disable vsync, cuz vsync restricted my FPS on 60, but remove the loading from my cheap video card)
with disabled VSync give me about 70-80 fps. sometimes drop to 60 in fight, but i think it's because i have 2gb ram :C

with this variant all textures become blurred as in 3D-games in 1998 year.

if u don't love my graphics, shut up and play with 15 fps in fast paced shooter.

My fps only increased by 6. Bringing the max to 46 fps.
What am I doing wrong__

I've tried all those .ini tweaks to increase performance and my fps didn't change at all. It's not at all your system's fault if Hawken doesn't run well. Hawken is poorly optimized and doesn't properly utilize system hardware, the devs have pretty much admitted this themselves. For the time being, there's not much many of us can do but wait for ADH to get with the program and actually learn UE3.
