VoIP has a few problems. At one point, people in different servers were on the same voice channel, but other people in the same server weren't.

I had one of my several TeamSpeak friends suffer a TS/Hawken problem that tripled all his voice signals making it impossible to understand what he was saying.

This took place on the final Closed Beta1 Patch on Tuesday night.

His problem ended when Hawken was closed.
The problem did not occur with the other 2 people in the same TeamSpeak server.

Server side Voip is a bad idea it takes away the competitiveness with just one channel not to mention rude trolls...It should be Push to Talk only. This helps avoid hot mikes (back ground noise) and conflicting settings.  The problem with TS and hawken has to do with settings... different sound cards, different Voip Codec decompressing at the same time, or to slow, or to fast you get echo affects or scrambled voices. That is why most server sides give option to disable their Voip since you don't need it if you use Teamspeak or other third party voip.

I tested TS3 while playing with Spiderz and EMEUTIER and none of us had any problems whatsoever.

I had this problem in Alpha and figured out that is was my game settings, I no longer have any problem cause my chat is set to, "Push to talk".  Not like I use it anyway...but I do listen when someone calls the shots for team work in Siege.

This bug could be very dependant on the soundcard/soundcard drivers, i think for this particular issue model and driver should be posted, i havent had this problem as i was playing/testing hawken, and talking to some friends about other games at the same time without problems (TS3).

im using an x-fi fatal1ty titanium, latest drivers as of date.
