the only issue is that steam makes my game lag if i have it running in there background so i would like it to still have the ol' launcher still

That's just what we need, even more people running around unbalancing the matches knowing exactly nothing at all about what they should be doing. More 3 year old kids, plz!

Are you kidding me_ Everyone I know is forced to use 3rd party VOIP since Ascension.
Hawken VOIP was awesome.

I have personally filed a support ticket; and others I know have even re-installed the game from scratch.
Still no Hawken VOIP. Very few people on my friends list have any communication with randoms at best.

I hate PUG's because I cannot communicate with them due to the broken VOIP system.

Personally, I HATE the drag that the steam cloud puts on my system when playing games on it; infuriates me xD

I never have problems with Steam. Do the guys that do just have low-end machines or something_

Also, I run Hawken through Steam as a non-Steam game to hopefully get it noticed by others. This game needs more peeps playing it. Then again, has the netcode been fixed sufficiently yet to handle the possible influx of people if released through Steam_

If they launch now they are screwed. They need to make the game accesible to more people(better servers, lower graph requis, I should not be having trouble with frames. Especially since my rig did an amazing job handling everything post ascension.) Also the balance in this game is ridiculous. They must fix it among another billion things because for the past months all they've been patching was :

The cloud has nothing to do with my machine; the steam cloud hogs bandwidth for me.
