WTF is a Brawler having 975hp when a single shot from the sniper will take you down 350+ health...
sniper is way OP now.

Atleast give the damn brawler back his armor. how the hell you going to brawl when you cant even get into a group of mechs to take hits and deal out some dmg while your there_ i run out into the open 10 seconds later i find my self having to repair always...

WEAK. Give some meteor points so i can at least buy a new mech "sniper" to play with.

Sabot rifles hurt. It's that simple.

my only problem here is the fact that the sniper has good armor 675 to start off with which makes them very tanky. I think they should be an A class mech not a B

They get more armor but they're also a lot slower and not as maneuverable.

Ah, how I wish I could talk about the Alpha 2 differences... anyone who was in it, though, they know what I'm getting at.

i remember the alpha 2 snipers and i preferred them since the ones in the closed beta can do better in close combat against assault and berserkers because of the large health boost imo

Someone forgot that they're still under NDA about the Alpha...

Well after doing a couple games in the Brawler, you are wrong.

Kiwi is having fun being a Big Brawler.

EDIT: Putting all optimization points into mobility in a C class is the best idea.

I find the Brawler to actually be better now.

However. Sharpshooter. Don't know why they buffed them even more...

Because your text color is terrible for the background and your signature is too tall.

Alternatively: It's because they are trying to make it so that they can fight sneaky Brawlers (which won't work because they're too sneaky)

You need bad eyesight to not see purple. Also, my signature is within the signature size limit.

They should increase the sound of the Sharpshooters weapons to the equivalent of thunder booming and increase how easily they can be found on radar.

What the sabot rifle could use is a distinct hit sound that is easily audible, so people can go "Oh, there's a sniper shooting" and hop into cover. Right now, most Sharpshooter kills seem to be on people who are too tied up in a fight to notice that sabot hitting.

They could also pay better attention to their armor. :P

Let's not give them too many crutches, shall we_

I'm thinking the Sharpshooter rifle should sound more like this.

Or like this...

Then we give the crutch to the Sharpshooter taking pot shots at the fight. Sudden loss of armor in a fight could easily come down to things like HE charges and explosives going off near/behind you.

Would be way too loud. It's a rifle, not a cannon. If anything, it should be a sharp crack, not a thundering boom.

Unfortunately, that's part of you getting swamped. If you're not using situational awareness and HE/explosions are bringing you down, you're kind of fighting less than optimally.

Plus, what's a sniper's main job_ That's right, picking off the weak stragglers...

Unfortunately that isn't it's job. Sharpshooters take out my level 12 armor specced Brawler in 3 shots.
