Just had my ass kicked real hard on some UK server. :P  At the beginning the teams were even. But after five minutes my team had only three members and other team had seven_!! WTF

We got obviously butchered out there. Now where was autobalancing, or is there any_

As far as i have seen there is no autobalance in place.

Many matches i have seen it to be very lopsided due to rage quiters..

(never seen so many people quit from a losing team before! In any game i have played.)

Probably due to the smaller team sizes, the unbalance kicks in quite fast. Just played a siege match where 4 teammates left all of a sudden ( not necessarily rage quit because we were winning at that point ). So we were only two left, but we kept on trying ( mainly because the way the two of us were playing made sense I think ).
Autobalance is a very annoying feature, perhaps some sort of penalty system would be better ( read : incentive to not quit a game for no reason ), for example lock xp gain for 1 match. I think this shouldn't apply to deathmatch or even TD, but it could help in the objective oriented game modes.

Only problem is that if one doesn't rage quit but get kicked out due to connection problems etc.

For instance in your case MK I think those four players did not intentionally disconnect. Maybe connection problems and could not get back and just gave up trying.

The most recent match I played there was three of us against four or so, this was missile, and we kept going until the end. We were losing but anyway fought on.

@Thygon :
Indeed when players lose connection they shouldn't receive a penalty. Maybe a pop up message/window with a warning coming up first when players intendedly try to quit a game early, then if they still go through with it, this activates the penalty....

Personally, I'm against any forms of penalties, but again - given the small teams - teammates leaving early will be a problem, for both teams actually ( no more fun for the outnumbering team ).

if anyone here plays counter strike go they have a classic casual matchmaking and classic competetive matchmaking and if you leave from competetive you get punished but u get 3 minutes to reconnect in case it was a dc, or crash, etc

while casual is no punishment for leaving

It' all about fun.  Competitive "leavers'" accounts get flagged.  Enough flags send the "leaver" to lower bracket searching where it takes longer and more leavers exits.  Let them sort each other out.
