Mech's get stuck

I have had my mech's get stuck alot while moving around and a glass ceiling effect when jumping or boosting upward while to close to an object. However its a Great game and thank you for the beta.

There are several clipping errors, the best way to solve that is to screenshot them and report them.

and when jumping or flying you may be at your max altitude.

When i move back from an object or jump from a higher position i am able to reach the top of what ever i tried to get on top of so i think it may be the game it self that needs a tweak.

You have to keep in mind that you are in a very large mech. It takes some practice to get a feel for how big it is compared to your perceptions from the driver's seat. Much like a car. Only, with guns and jumpjets.

That is true however if you try this yourself on any map you will see that in most cases you are not able to boost or jump up while being to close to and object. Even if it may be a flat wall with no over hang you will still have to jump or boost from a higher level or move very far back in order to reach were you want to be.

Getting stuck on walls is the biggest issue I have, but also on just little bumps in the terrain. The only way I've been able to get unstuck is by dodging in the opposite direction. This has happened on completely flat walls with no obstructions in any other direction (while getting shot at, I might add).

Didn't you know_  The world of Hawken is crafted out of impact adhesive!

Levity aside, the stickiness of the terrain does get a bit much sometimes, particularly on Alleys.  (In fact I'd go so far as to say that it's positively broken in some spots on Alleys; on the slopes usually.)

ya its a real crapy feeling to be in the heat of battle and realize you cant move then you die

if you want to leav the sparks and smashing/sliding sounds thats cool but im getting tired of boosting off the wall and slightly bumpy ground that my MECH should have no problem walking over

I keep having the problem of clipping into walls when i try to run a way. I hit my boosters and bam in wall now im just food for the valuters.

Yes because you have a maximum height from the point you start of at. If your high up and boost you can fly so many meters but if you on the ground you can still fly only so many meters.
