Excuse me if i don't jump for joy about this one, but i find this to be utterly retarded.
This is an FPS right, not an RPG _
And i'm concerned about the lack of notices on the Vulcan cannon, considering how insanely overpowered it made the Berserkers...
But at least with the wipe i won't be running into one of those for a few days, which is SOME consolation.

Have you seen how some of the items balance out against each other _
It makes no sense to buy half the stuff, and any items that could make a good combo now almost fully negate each other's bonusses.
At this rate they might as well do away with any bougth items that help with stats, and keep the whole buying things part purely cosmetic.
And i'm also not very pleased with the merging of the 2 item classes.
Hell, there are a whole bunch of decisions that i don't quite get right now.

- Items are now divided into just two categories: Offensive Items and Support Items (the old Defensive and Functional categories are now "Support")
- but all mechs can use thrusters for longer periods of time
- The default matchmaking type is now Team Deathmatch
- Mech movement has been rebalanced: Mech B and Mech C move slightly slower,
- We have a new ‘Enemy Sighted’ marker which should stand out more to the player
Do not change HUD in Christmas tree, plz.

Huh, I wasn't expecting these. I uh... hmm. I will test before commenting.
• Most Internals now have negative effects to balance out the positive ones
• Optimization trees have been altered for better balance
Oooh, this is very intriguing. Must test and mess about with this.
• Siege Mode: Bases now have 2 base health instead of 3
• Siege Mode: Energy Unit (EU) sources no longer run out of energy when in dispensing mode
Huh, well this will certainly help to speed matches up. Interesting changes in the EU trees too. I thought them running out was a good thing- stops teams just sitting on one EU tree each and going back and forth to base. Could lead to Siege mode being a bit more dull.

Huh, I thought the movespeeds were fine before. I certainly welcome the extra boost time though! Does this mean more fuel or just that boosting uses less_ I take it flying still costs as much_

What__ I hope this is just for CBE3... I cannot stand matchmaking systems.

Ah good stuff. Does this also fix the issue of not getting any earned HP/EXP if you disconnect from a game in progress_
• Cloaked Infiltrators should be harder to detect in close range (the red enemy box indicator does not show up unless they have recently fired)
I assume the distortion effect is still unchanged though_ I mean really it is so easy to spot even if you aren't looking for it- it is eye catching! That defeats the entire point of it!
• Players can no longer purchase duplicate mechs
Ah hah! I did wonder why we could if we had to level them up and outfit them seperately.
• Local player movement was rewritten for smoother movement in network games
• Choppiness seen on connections with high-ping or packet loss was greatly reduced in general, but mostly noticeable when boosting
Wonderful! Less choppiness due to lag is never a bad thing! I might be able to play on the US servers now without being unable to hit warping enemies.
Overall fantastic patch notes, thank you so much for your hard work!
