As humans, one of our biggest advantages over many other species is our advanced way of thought. We can do things that our instinct would never have us do, like remembering everything useless you have ever heard.

 

Now, since I to now has not seen nor remember having seen any threads like this, I feel it is heavily needed. I want you, dear reader, to tell us humble listeners a random fact you know. There is no on-going theme, it can be about absolutely anything.

Know a fact about a game? Post it.

Know something about the CCCP? Post it.

Know something about flora and fauna? Post it.

 

It can be whatever you want. Good, bad, positive, negative, depressive, anything! So long it doesn`t hurt anyone, everything is legal!

In the Large Megellanic Cloud in the center of the R136 Super Star Clucster is a star known as R136a1 and is the most massive star known. It is known as an Ultraviolet Star due it its extreme heat. Its primary color is in the ultraviolet but would appear dark blue in the visible spectrum. The is over 250 solar masses (250 times the size of the sun) and is in a class of stars known as Wolf-Rayey.  These stars are so massive and powerful, their solar winds don't just blow away from the surface but literally rip its own surface off. It is thought that over 60 solar masses of the star has been "blown away". It produces so much light that the star itself (along with several other nearly equally massive stars in the super cluster) light up the nearly 1000 light-year across Tarantula Nebula. 

It is the star at the center of the blob.
