I see people chatting though so I guess it's just me.

 

 

EDIT: Not a single Twitch stream loads for me, guess it's a problem with Twitch itself?

The european Twitch servers aren't good at all, idk what's the issue atm, it could be that some big LoL or Heartstone or whatever event actually exhaust the limits of the servers, I hope it'll be fixed soon.

In colloquial speech you say "American" of course, however, "US American" is very rarely used, too.

In German you actually say "US-Amerikaner (US American)", since "Amerikaner (American)" refers to somebody who lives on the continent America. Probably that's why I tend to say "US American", even in English.
