Team Handsome has defeated Axe Attack in the grand final. Our final standings are as follows: 1) Team Handsome; 2) Axe Attack; 3) The Automatic Mustangs. Within the Omega Conference, THC finished first, and The B-Team finished second. Strong performances by everyone involved - well done.

Couple quick updates as we move into the semi-final rounds. Unfortunately, we've had forfeits from both Crushinator and Super Awesome Sparkle Cakes; the former through their failure to meet scheduling deadlines, and the latter through verbal confirmation. Although we'd intended to provide Crushinator additional time to play their losers bracket match, their extended absence would've seen them win through attrition against SASC. As a result, both Crush and SASC have been removed from playoff contention.
Bit of a bummer, but we'd like to thank both Crush and SASC for their participation throughout the season. Know it was tough keeping everyone together for matches and practices.

We're heading into our Omega Conference gold and bronze matches. There's no real rush on the bronze game, but our teams should play within a reasonable timeframe (1-2 weeks). The gold game, though, should be played asap (preferably this week), as we've early-round Alpha conference matches waiting on its outcome.

With only one game remaining, TPG League's regular season is drawing to a close (*cough* THC and TDM *cough*). Playoffs start this week, and teams should start scheduling asap. Brackets for both conferences may be viewed here:
Since the Alpha Conference bracket requires the completion of the Omega Conference playoffs, our Omega teams will be on a slightly tighter timeline. We won't be issuing hard deadlines (yet), but I will be hassling everyone to schedule and play their matches. Hassle, hassle, hassle. In the interim, the Alpha Conference playoffs will proceed where possible: The Automatic Mustangs vs. Super Awesome Sparkle Cakes, and the winner of that match vs. Team Handsome.
Quick Notes
- Omega Conference playoffs will be single elimination, while Alpha Conference playoffs will be double elimination. Running double elimination for both conferences would've delayed season's end considerably. Additionally, the Omega Conference bronze match ensures that almost every team (apart from one) plays two matches anyway.
- Regular season standings determined playoff seedings. If you're interested in reproducing the matchups, simply register on Challonge and input the teams as per regular season standings.
- Please continue to record your matches and take your screenshots. In my experience, disputes are more likely to arise during playoffs.
- There will be prizes, but their distribution is undetermined as of yet. Will update once we've figured things out.
