Suggestion: A quick link for the player viewing the page, or, a search bar to find a user.

 

EDIT: The "Forums" link on the user page links to the steam community forums, not the official forum.

Not feasible without requiring the user to login with their username, and that's a ton of work a simple button.

Technical limitations prevent a full fledged "search" for now. You can use the following search box to find a user by their complete username.

The obvious one is a top 100 list, though I understand from the discussion in IRC that there might be some technical barriers to that.

 

More importantly, PublicPSR needs to be a thing. 

 

Not a suggestion, but it looks like the background on each player's page corresponds to their most played mech. That's brilliant.

I could do a top 1000 list. I just can't do the entire user database since heroku only allows 10k rows on their free database. I've currently tracked nearly 100k users since febuary on my personally PC I always leave running. There's also been about 6-10k users every 2 days.

humph humph, is it possible to have MOAR stats ?

- top 3 of the mostly played mech

- top 3 of cumulated kills

- top 3 of K/D ratio

Suggestions:

 

Master to detail view should be part of the server list: when a user clicks on the server row it should expand into a user list (collapsible as well).    When clicking on a user it should be a modal popup within the page (use iframe), not a new page.  But, keep the user page for external links.

 

 

Other than that, great job and kudos on using REST :D

Is it possible to get more than just numbers for KDR and stats on the user pages? Maybe bar graphs of k/d or a pie chart of time played/kills on each mech. Thanks again for all the work!

I was thinking of doing this, but it would be less intuitive to users they can link to a particular user (or themselves) by copying the address bar.

New feature: Server List auto refreshes every 30 seconds (on by default).

I may turn it off by default depending on a few things, but wanted to test it on by default for a bit first.

As in achievement points? I can add that easily enough since a sum is already in one of the requests I make to the Hawken API.

I don't really want to show a list of which achievements a player has completed though. The in game UI for it is pretty good.

Ive post my problem here cause i fin no other way to write you. 

 

 

My names (got 3 accounts (no smurfs)) arent listed on your mmr�s list. Not on the EU list and not on the "world" list. Ive renamed a mech to "PublicMMR".

 

Hope you can help.

Of course i did update my profile on that page, but nothing happens. I just thought that THIS was a mistake, cause theres written i should only update profiles with edited callsign, and NOT ones with original callsign. But not before i did this, nor after it shows me on the leaderboard.

 

Btw, if i do a direct search for my name it shows up:

Is the "Kills.BestMultiKill" what relates to the whole "Double Kill," "Triple Kill" stuff? I could be mistaken, but I believe it's one number off, showing one less than what the game shows. For example, my best multikill in my Bruiser was 6 kills, but my page shows it as 5 (the game shows it as 6).

 

It makes sense why it would be one less, though. It's not really a multikill unless you get anything past 1 kill lol.

It is, and I've noticed that stat being off for a while now too. I think multikills actually used to cap at 5 on herokuapp regardless of how high the actual number was, but it seems to be actual-1 at all values now considering that my Assault is showing at 10 on the webpage but 11 in my in-game profile.

Thanks alot shade. Now its listed. I not lying, i tried it multiple times before, even with capitalization, but i didnt worked out for some reason. On my second account sumitting the form works out NOW, but also didnt worked out before.

I think one awesome tool to be built into the server list would be a button to ping all active serves and show you what ones your machine reaches best ....

The Hawken Account I used to fetch the data got temporarily deleted. It seems to be back now.

Suggestion: add an option to filter out anonymous users from regional leaderboards. Top 1000 overall has raised enough that I can no longer see my alt, and it this rate it won't be long until I can't see my main either.

Edit: oh and maybe add the weekly kills/deaths/mmr change to the individual player pages. That's one of the things I like to look at

Would it be possible to see average mmr of players killed/killed by? Not super usefull, but might be interesting.

I'm on the west coast but I would prefer more mid servers like dallas, that way the ping is as even as possible for west and east coast players. Just flood Hawken with mid US servers for the US folks.
