There are so many facets of the game that are important. Fail one and you are dead. Awareness is paramount. Not only knowing where YOU ARE. But where the other players are at all times. One behind you is a very good way to die, especially if you did not check your radar to know he/she is there. Learning to dodge and WHEN to dodge. And aiming is a trick in itself. Not only being able to rapidly target and fire at a opponent. But learning the lag on that server. How it effects where and when a shot will actually land. Learning what each particular type of weapon works and its good points and where it fails. Example, when firing hellfires off a Bruiser and how to "throw" them and dodge at the same time so a opponent "runs into" them as he comes at you while you then are already firing guns to damage him. I guess my point is the biggest trick is just practice. Watch and learn from others. Ask some of the nicer players to help, many will. Playing with better players DOES improve your game. It has for me.

Thank you all for your advices, my mmr is around 1950 - 1960, I reached 2K playing technician but my fight skills are much lower with other mechs, so I'm trying to improve them.
Now I play TDM bots, I try to avoid competitive game until I'm ready
Thank you all.

- if you tech, you can watch from behind and learn from other pilots how they move and why they do what they do
- if you play scout, you learn to be patience, cause 1 shots from 2 directions can kill you instantly
- if you play predator, you learn to be patience and as well to strike when your time is coming and where to move to get into the back of the enemy without them notice your present
- if you play brawler, you learn how important it is to stick to your team, cause you cannot run away from any enemy
- if you play a sniper, you learn to pick on weak enemy with 1 shot kills, to flank most of the time and the "habits" of some players, also when to retreat cause the enemy is closing to you
Learn the habits from some player and think about how you can counter them. Also you have more steps you can do to get better.
1. you need a decent pc to get decent stable fps (like 120-144)
2. you need a decent gamer monitor for less blurr and smooth gameplayexperience (120/144Hz - Free/G-Sync)
3. you need a mouse with fixed cable (less input lag) and without a bad sensor (3310/3366/3988/3090), so without mouse accleration, angle snapping, jitter and so on
4. find your optimal DPI Speed, your comfortable with to aim good and still able to move quick in hawken or doing both (sniper button -> push and holding it, gives you less dpi for aiming until you release your finger again)
5. less fancy video settings, so you get better view about the battlefield
Of example, after i learned about that sensor stuff, i got a good mouse and tried some settings. Hawken ingame Mouse sense is back to standard 20 and mouse DPI is 350 Scout 450 Brawler 400 Assault and 200 Sniper
If you did all of this, got better, but at some points it seems you can't reach higher ground, then you got your wall that may never break or just very slowly.
Hope that helped.
