My ping pretty much sucks anywhere Dallas and east of there. I checked the server list today and saw only one LA server. Why there aren't more west coast servers and less east coast servers? I'm not asking for more LA servers, which apparently suck, according to many I've played with on there. We had more west coast servers before, what happened to them?

 

I know there's probably going to be a large amount of sarcastic comments, but whatevs.

This is because the majority of the player base is east us. However, there are still a large amount of extraneous east servers, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt to spread them out or even centralize all of them.

West coast best coast! Honestly the best ping us weirdos out west ever had was during the silence when once a week we could get a server on west going

I don't think the problem is lack of servers, I think the problem is actually managing to get everyone who wants it into a west server. There are more than enough LA servers, it's just too hard to use them. Ideally we could prioritize sub-regions and somehow mm would factor in both mmr and region/ping

 

 

EDIT: Apparently there are now only 2 LA TDM servers, and MA/SG. TJ is spot on, please bring back Oregon. Ideally, please put these servers in Corvallis, specifically near campus.

I usually assume whenever people say "x servers suck" it means they live far from those servers, for the most part.  LA servers are great for me because I live on the west coast, whereas New Jersey servers are pure hell and I refuse to play on them at all.  But yes more west coast servers would be nice.  Like whatever happened to the Oregon servers?  Those would be nice for our northern players.

I am in Texas, and get good ping everywhere.

 

But the Jersey servers still suck to play on, and I wouldn't object to more WC servers

i like how the mobile company is on tv trash talking another mobile for saying they got fastest speeds, and then testing shown that it was only in kansas

kansas being the worst performing server to me in my country even worse than a state twice as far

I think WC players were just way too skilled. Reloaded decided to remove WC servers so east players could have a little bit of a handicap. WC domination was getting out of hand. 

 

croc, you said its too hard to use LA servers? What do you mean? I go to server browser, click the only LA server listed, and join. Wasnt too difficult. What do you mean by 'hard to use' ?

Hard to use isn't really what I meant. Hard to find a full server above 1600 srd would be more accurate. It happens sometimes and it's great when it does, it's just not all the time.

Maybe we should start trying to use that West Coast steam group again...

Edit: re-read my original comment. What I meant was people just use mm and since it isn't regionally separated they don't end up in LA, even though there are often enough WC players to get a server going. Just a matter of communication I guess

Like you, I get 20-60 everywhere. NJ I get 64 ping, but play there still sucks.
