[HOHOHOSANTA]

As the topic name says there is already a ranked leader board for hawken off of forums that most us are aware of but this post is to see your personal view of who is your top players in each mech category. Do not bash, Everyone's will be different just name your top 5. Debates are welcomed as I said it's your own personal view. These are players who use mostly that mech as main and played the game within the last 3 years. Just put who you can think of or deserve a spot.

The problem with these lists are that the very top players, several of which are listed, can also play other mechs, often more competently than those that play them frequently. For instance, I would classify Amid as one of the best rocketeer players because he consistently uses it with heat cannon and has become a proficient duelist, but Amid is a player around 2200 MMR (could be off by a hundred or more, I really don't keep track) and if hestoned picked it up, could likely outmatch him quite handily. Some mechs are just more fun.

 

And that being said, if we are classifying Rocketeer, MexichanMan wasn't really someone to laugh at.

I really don't want to make this a callout thread but aren't you really good with the Reaper Hohohosanta? I don't know very many people that main Reaper so I may be thinking of the wrong person. But if I'm right, why not add yourself to the list?

This what happens when I don't show people how well I can do in other mechs. Jesus Christ I've had people I have played with for the better part of two years say they've never seen me outside of the G2 raider, and I know for a fact I switch it up at least once a match and have been doing so for almost a year. Ugh. 

 

I'm just glad I'm finally recognized, if not for my skill but maybe my dedication

Well its based from my point of view, I wouldn't put myself on it lol. If other people put me on theirs then I can see how im viewed too someone else, which is cool. I don't consider myself that good lol too be honest. I'm just here for fun

I dont remember MexichanMan BUT I did say its based off what people play the most, not by mmr. I'm sure most of us are well rounded overall players with different mechs, we just don't use them all the time. The List is Based off your strong/strongest mech that you use 90% of the time.

i feel ya i just got the G2R and im going to start using it as my main heavy mech because its so fun and deadly... but then again im just a lowly skrub.

This isn't some top tier list cause as some people have stated, probably only the top 25 could be in any of these categories. Its just who i'd run away from the most in public, as they are playing THAT mech. Its for you to basically hone in and master you're calling or find some form of diversity, you choose

 

 

Scout: Runa. JK. Dew. For some reason I could barely beat Dew for like two days straight. Probably a year back. Not a fun time. It's always stuck with me. No clue what he mains. And all those 10 hour and under smurfs.

More like alternate accounts, they're all the same MMR as my main or higher, level 30 with plenty of hours, hundreds, on these accounts.  I started one of them pre-Ascension update, so back in 2013, in addition to the main.

This list reminds me of another list I stumbled upon recently. It was titled Top 50 stand-up comedians of all time. Unsurprisingly, 49 of those listed were American, with the lonely Eddie Izzard somewhere closer to the bottom. The creator of the list was completely oblivious to the fact that the art of stand-up comedy is not restricted to the U.S. and Britain, and that there are, and have been, many brilliant performers from other countries.

 

This list should be renamed to Forum leaderboard of NA players.
