Eth0 is an underrated G2Raider player. Incitatus is another underrated player when it comes to Infiltrator. Not sure if people ever played Rei but he was a good sharpie aswell. Also if I was to make a zerk list I'd put a player named JokerKrush back when I first started he was pretty good lol.
There's plenty of players that catch my eye. TurquoiseTortise is another one under the Raider category.
And although is he no longer with us R.I.P Bkcat1 was a very great player who deservingly should be on everyone's list in brawler/Vanguard
Where's Metalbeard? He was a pretty top-notch raider player. Bastard was always trying to bypass my turn cap with those turn breaker moves. Etho would be a super good g2 raider if he actually stuck with it. Wut happened with BK?

Yes! Metalbeard! He was on a couple weeks ago and I finally had a chance to thank him for what he brought to the game and kindly taught me in the process. (He even claimed he remembered me.)Where's Metalbeard? He was a pretty top-notch raider player. Bastard was always trying to bypass my turn cap with those turn breaker moves...
Metalbeard and Omni-Null were the 2 guys who encouraged me to stick with the game and were very down to earth and approachable (and gifted) players. They would help anyone.
Metalbeard's Raider was mean, but I feared his Assault even more!

Grenadier: Shoutaxeror
A solid, in-your-face Vulcan Gren that you never want to CQC.
Just saw that. I almost never play vugren but anyway I shouldn't even be part of that list because
CrafyShoutaxeror, while an experienced player , isn't particularly exceptional. He yolodives far too often, even in competitive matches, and generally has poor positioning. I'd say his accuracyis alrightdepends on the moon position, but his decision-making and gameplay is overall average.
Luckily I don't have his ego!

Never seen BK in a g2 only Infiltrator and brawler. I'd give credit Jelly Jeff on raider though but gets killed kind of easily

Im wondering if we should add names based on weapon, instead of overall skill by mech. what you guys think. Atleast certain weapons such as EOC, Heat Cannon

Are there more than 10 people who play G2 Raider? If not, am I finally a top 10 Turkey player? Relevance achieved?
Also, neco.

No.
*(Because most actual top 10 folks could still prolly play g2r better than most of us dedicated battle turkey cultist scrubs).

nobody is best, unless we are judging them on their best days
otherwise we are putting players on the same pedestal as a call center's metrics of the floor chart.

Alt+f4 politely asks Windows to terminate the active window on your desktop when it gets a chance to. That's why sometimes you'll Alt+F4 a frozen window and Windows goes
A cool lightweight program that I use, SuperF4, asks for nobody's permission and terminates the process immediately.

Seems unneeded.
I just open task manager, and kill it from there. CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, or CTRL+ALT+DEL and then select task manager, or right click on the taskbar and open it from there, or WIN KEY+R, and type in taskmgr.

Or I can press ctrl+alt+f4 and it's like doing any of those things, but without having to move my mouse or open any new windows.

You want a list, not sure why you think it matters, but ok.
Evolwar
Taerkasten
Both might before your time, but I used to really enjoy the nightly matches that happened with those two in the Closed Betas and before the ascension tragedy.

ah, ok, I didn't look at the link, I thought it was just another process explorer ripoff.

Ah yeah, that'd be shitty. Ctrl+alt+del does work well for it's intended purpose (at least for someone like me), but I like having that shortcut with SuperF4 where I don't have to fight my occasionally disappearing mouse cursor when an old game crashes etc.

well I got bored and decided to make a list, based on comp experience and general pubs
I'll try to make it varied so people's feelings aren't hurt and everyone goes home happy
A Classes
Berserker -
IAreDave: strong zerker because omni, what else, remember him from TPG
GGanjaman: he was good I guess
ButtSatisfier: also good I guess
kirkgonewild: he played zerk in comp
(in general, I find that zerkers I can generally deal with if my aim is on point so there's not much to say if I'm losing to one, it must be on my end. few zerkers sticks out in my mind because I find most of the Zerker pubbies are incredibly yolodive-y)
Technician -
FuryMonster: oldie but a goodie
TunsofFun: remember him in a tech for some reason
(not to say Techs r bad but it's easy to be a top scorer as a Technician and hide your true skill, so not many pubbies stick out because well it's a pub and tech is tech)
Scout -
hestoned: obvious reasons are obvious
IAreDave: obvious reasons are obvious
ClusterBombMan: literally Hawken child prodigy, movement is really amazing, great footwork with his mechs
Merl61 - He's a good scout player. Ping holds him back but what he does with his ping is admirable at least. Movement gets predictable the longer an engagement lasts against him.
jeffmagnum - obvious reasons are obvious
cond0m - obvious reasons are obvious
(there are a lot of pubbie scouts that do well but again, there isn't a reason I shouldn't be doing well against them unless I'm just doing bad and need practice. I know they're manageable if I lock in, but these players above always give me trouble)
Reaper -
Rei - oldie but he was a superbly sharp sniper
Devotion - made his fame on Reaper to my knowledge
jeffmagnum - reasons aim
craftydus gets an honorable mention because he'll throw a fit on IRC if I don't
(I like this mech a lot, don't see it too much in pubs)
Infiltrator -
TJ - always struck me as a very intelligent Infil player. Plays from the middle of the Pacific if I'm not mistaken so what he does with his ping is admirable.
alexaxle - strong AR Infil, would love to see him in something else than an AR Infil
Imaginary Friend - a one mech wonder in Infil but outside of it, not that fantastic imo but in an Infil he does good enough to ring a bell in my head
IAreDave - good Infil. Obvious reasons are obvious
Bruiser -
Balweo: I met him once, was amazingly on point with Bruiser, shame he's in Japan
PlagueDoctor: good Bruiser, met a few times, good Bruiser
PeacecraftSLD - very strong bruiser player in comp, love the way he plays it, he makes it work
(not enough people play this mech. I think it's underrated, it is indeed weaker than the other obvious choices because of Hellfires, but a killer ability, strong ability, underrated ability, as well as a good hitscan weapon, hard to not like. Wish it were better because I really like this mech, play it a lot)
Sharpshooter
Nept, HOHOHOSANTA, NepR, CounterLogic, devotion, Draigun, Brigantine, TOEMASHER, Rei, jeffmagnum, cond0m
(a good sharpshooter can lock you down and punish you hard for bad positioning, these guys smack you in the face)
Plague Doctor was one of the early godfathers of the AC meta in a freaking bruiser, i remember when last devs were doin live streams they commented he had like 4-5 elited out bruisers and that was then (summer 2014).
Nepr + Rei + Nept + HOHO= NO CORNER PEEK IS SAFE
