The Cubs finally won and I'm so fuzzing happy. For anyone wondering, no, I'm not from Chicago. My dad started rooting for the cubs as a kid because he liked the logo and he raised me as a cubby. Anyway, cheers to any fellow fans playing Hawken, the curse is over.
There's always this year

Not a Cubs fan, but I can't help but appreciate good baseball. The Cubs deserved this win.
Well played.

Liked for the word "cubby", although I find it really irksome that the NA MLB championship is called "the World Series". Like, come on now.

It's called the world series because the best teams in the world are in the MLB. There's more money there so all of the best baseball players from around the world (Dominican Republic, Japan, Cuba, etc.) Come to the US and Canada to play. Baseball isn't played everywhere but it is played in many countries around the world. Nobody in the baseball world would deny that the Series champs are also the "world" champs.Liked for the word "cubby", although I find it really irksome that the NA MLB championship is called "the World Series". This is not why it's called that. I gave that link for a reason.

There's no pictures or gifs in that. Clearly an unreliable source.

guy "predicted" the win back in 93 and in his highschool yearbook no less, meanwhile in this presidential election year, you can count on any big media event being timed as a diversion to whatever information is being released, or some other sort of unscrupulous acts therein related so on and such, what with conspiracies and all.
meanwhile clinton is from Illinois
clinton = illuminati telepath time traveler (or illuminati who controls a telepath time traveler)

Ortiz isn't a bad dude by hawken standards, and we don't have a hall of fame, so there.Does Papi deserve to be in the Hof?
End of discussion.

$20 bucks says in 2017 mlb commercials, you'll be able to find the odd frame with a big papi appearance

grats. i'm such a non-follower of sports that i just saw this. as for the "world" series, when the japanese told the winners (long ago) "you americans bring your nation's champions to japan, and we'll show you a real world series championship.
they did a courtesy run to tokyo, and the japanese skunked 'em.
haven't watched a game since.

Last time I tried to cite a source that looked like that was 6th grade and my teacher shat on me for doing so.
Not saying you're wrong, just your source is bad.
