So apparently Xbox Live is tied to Greenwich Mean Time, so my subscription died sometime this afternoon, rather than at midnight.  

 

Which is unfortunate, because Xbox Live also ate a bunch of my Howken review footage that I was hoping to recoup tonight, particularly my early forays with the BBY Vanguard and the impossibility of zooming. Annnnnnnnnnd all of my Charge footage. My sweet, sweet baby Charge.

 

And who knows what else. 

 

So yeah. That sucks.

 

In other news, I bought a fuzzing bruiser to test heavy armour and damage reduction abilities for you lot so in compensation for my pain, anyone wanna buy me, like, a day of Live? 

 

Do they do days?

 

A week?

Looks like a gift card for a month of xbox live gold is 9.99 USD, but I can't for the bloody life of me find an equivalent in CAD.

I was only halfways serious, but yeah, the only place I've found them is in 7-11s up here.

Everything in my fridge at the moment costs less than $2 so while I probably could scavenge it, it would probably be less than responsible, particularly when I'm saving for a new laptop.
