On another note, i might be able to attend this sunday, but due to traveling and things I am gonnna set my attendance to NO  so far :/

Hey folks, I have to take a break from KDR and HAWKEN for the next week as I have some rather pressing professional matters to attend to.

 

This means that (KDR) Seron will be running the session with the admin team tomorrow night. During the week I would appreciate it if you directed all staff related issues through (KDR) Pandabaron as usual  and anything else through (KDR) Seron. I will try to resolve any outstanding issues today but otherwise I should be back in game for next week.

 

I am sorry that I will miss the first practice of our new recruits and guests but please do make them feel very welcome and will look forward to meeting them next time. 

 

Please, in order to help the team for tomorrows session, do make sure you have filled out your attendance and that you are in the TS server in plenty of time.

Slightly off any topic, But Rozermahbub, Known for living on a Lunar module, circling the globe some 384,000 km away, has taken to saying 'good morning' whenever we meet, Here's the science;

 

The Moon used to spin incredibly quickly, likely making the Rozer we know and love today a little zany.. but the moon's rotational axis has since slowed down gradually because of the Earth's gravity. in the same way the weaker moon's gravity effects our tides on earth. this meeting of gravity's has conversely led to the moon now taking 27 and a half days to rotate on it's axis, or about 29 relative with us earthlings (hence the length of a lunar cycle). This means that during those 27 and half days, to remain in constantly sunlight, Rozer only needs to travel 246 miles a day in one direction (providing he's on the moons equator, so he can sunbathe) in his scoot, on the moon, to keep in direct morning light. hence he is permanently segmented into wishing people a good morning, and correctly so. 

Also to further add to this comment; the orbital period (the amount of time the moon takes to go around the earth) and the rotational period (how long the moon takes to spin on it's axis) are very nearly the same amount of time. this means that we, as earth observers, can only ever see one half (actually a little under 60%) of the moons surface. 

This is why 40% of the time, Rozer is complaining about his ping.

Hey, KarlSchlag, it was great gaming with you this weekend, you have some skillz on point! I agree, I LOVE the teamwork aspect of this, and believe as I get to know everyone's style and preference, I'll be better able to fill that niche. Prefer Tech myself. Look forward to working on map point names, stratgegy for MA and Siege. I REALLY enjoyed the VIP TDM, that was pretty good.

Random thought occured:

 

I know some of you guys have been wanting another training session a week, so I suggest that you try out Dr_Freeze's Ultra violent event on Wednesday's.

It's not intended as a training session, but we do have many teambased games in wich we use the same things we train on Sundays, and I would say many things bring us out of our comfort zone wich makes us better allround pilots.

 

I KNOW this have been said before, but thought i would remind you all about it ^_^

Greetings Pilots of the KDR!

Hey folks, I hope you are all very well and thanks for bearing with me at this very busy time in my life. Good news is that I got the promotion I was hoping for. The bad news is that sadly, I still wont be able to attend tomorrows session. The new job has brought on a tonne of responsibilities that simply must be addressed by Monday this week. I will however, be back in action early next week and I am looking forward to getting back into HAWKEN and KDR. 

 

Have a great time at the Sunday session and for (KDR) Seron's, Batpanda's and DrFreez's sake, please make sure that you fill out the attendance document as usual. That way the team can properly organise tomorrows event.

Yesterday's session was quite cool, even if I found low tier matches a bit slow, not enough frantic.

I'd like to clarify some mysteries about my nickname though : some friends of mine usally call me "Shout�", which would mean that I don't need to be on drugs to be physically slow (or always on drugs). In the first online game I've ever dug, some clan's girl came with this badass transformation of that nick, and it just sounded amazing to me. This is it.
