I hate steam, but I guess there are no other way to instal this game?
If so, I won't even bother.

Why?

 

The game currently is able to be launched with out steam after install.

It's free so I guess there's probably a torrent out there somewhere for it

Steam is a fine platform.

You can wait until Reloaded might eventually deploy a standalone launcher. But otherwise you need Steam to install, if not to run.

The application can be run directly from the application folder.
