When you press the B button to check what's behind you... the man in the mech lowers his head and look at the monitor which shows back. Realistic, fast and maybe possible. to make.

If you say so and there are qucik turns then mirrors are propably useless. There is a radar (saw it at the gameplay yesterday) so you (I mean all players) can see if there is an enemy behind us. But the idea to make a few camera views just to watch your mech is not that bad. Not much benefits but if you work hard at your customization you want to saw your mech after all.

I think that would be a unique attribute for a FPS in general...moreover, it makes sense; jets and planes use them, and it saves them.
Even if it ain't mandatory, it would be a great option/feature to throw into a customizable cockpit.

User selectable yes.
Sniper mode definite yes.
Jumping around like a frog on a hot tin plate. No.
Sensory overload or a really funny, oh NO! moment right before missles ram home.

Because it's a mech game, people who aren't used to mech games and instead are used to military shooters (including myself) are underutilizing the 180 turn mechanic. Once they (again, including myself) start realizing this is a completely different type of mobility, I think it'll become more natural. I wonder if the mirror will make it more natural or just become a difficult feature to use.
