I am curious to see how the clan system will work. I also think clan management should be managed through the website, not client.

because bow ties are cool

So what happens to the items we already own_ Do the suddenly become weaker or do we get the stronger version and have to buy more items_ I'm excited to see how three turrets pan out.

Your items will stay the same, they aren't going anywhere and you won't need to purchase stronger versions or anything like that.

Basically how the patch will work is now instead of having one defensive item slot and one offensive item slot you'll have several unlabeled slots (I'm not sure how many). You'll then be able to pick your load out based on the slots and the less items you bring into the match the stronger they are.

For example if I were to bring two offensive items, like a detonator, into a match that would mean they wouldn't be as strong as bringing a single offensive item. The more you equip the weaker they get basically. So if you carry a lot of items repair charges will heal less, turrets will do less damage, the radius for radar tracker/jammer will be smaller, shield/blockade won't last as long, and so forth.

The items may not function exactly as I said but that is the idea they are going for.

They actually confirmed in that list clan management would be done on the site. :P

Hmm, it was my understanding we would have X number of slots, but more powerful items would take up more slots, allowing us to have less of them. I could be wrong as I did miss that part of the stream due to my comp dying, though.

Greetings from cryo sleep. I'm writing here first to announce my return to Hawken once this patch comes out.
It has peaked my interest and it is high time Mal and I start showing you how its done again :P. I will be running my usual impromptu fight clubs which will be much easier with the party system.
Until this patch launches I can be found in League of Legends under the username pewpewlsrbeams.
