Introducing the Hawken Mech Customizer project a.k.a HMC

This application is not an official release of the HAWKEN franchise. However, the material here in, such as the HAWKEN logo and the designs and names of the “Mechs” themselves is the intellectual property of Adhesive Games and Meteor Entertainment. The concept and application itself, belongs to those who designed and implemented its creation.

This project is fuelled by HAWKEN Fans for HAWKEN fans.

Noooo the HMC of course!
So for the first 2014's update :

-Alternate skins
-Corrected camo display
-Lines
-Weapons are now symetrized (not just copied and positioned)
-more weapons
-more camos
-Predator and brawler(without shields :s) added

HMC should start faster, but when you select a mech type, it'll have to download once;

H.M.C current features :

Here's a few features of this early version :

• A/B/C type, and body shop with all current Elite and progession skins !
  
• Place any (or none) weapons on any side (in progress (weap scale is wrong)
  
• Camo (in progress, need scale fix) + Custom camo : Upload any picture as camo !
  
• choose a custom background color or choose for preset or: Upload any picture as background !
  
• Studio Mode, custom shadow projection !
  
• Graphic User Interface (in progress)

Why H.M.C _

Because we all dreamed about dual EOC right !_
More seriously, it was really just a little idea we had in mind that we tough " it could be cool ",
Maybe the community will like it, and it could be usefull as a tool to make fan arts _
Maybe it could even bring more players in the game !
It's a great project to put our skills "to the test" and learn in a motivating environnement as well !

For now, all the credits goes to my buddy Ponysoft and of course to the Hawken Art division and 3D modeling team for designing suchs pieces of Art... and to not banhammer us (yet) to unofficially use them !

As soooon as I can I'll work on the UI of this ! For now i'm busy on designing the next European Fight Club Event poster, cool cool project too !

Hello Hawken community!

Let me introduce myself a little bit late ^^ i'm the Hawken Fan developer behind PonySoft's work.

First, a huge thank you to my friend Erathic without who, this project would still be a maybe-i'll-do-it-one-day project.
Thank you also to all those who have shown interest in this project!

So now, time for gifts! the Hawken Mech Customizer is now on version 0.3! Just a few updates: class B Mechs added and minor Interface evolution until Erathic makes me an ass-kicking interface ^^.

And don't worry, more is coming.

We are making it mostly for fun and for training our skills on something we care about (MEEECHS)
And IF it could be somehow useful, then that's even better lol !

For now the goal is the ability to customize all mechs, weapons, and bodyparts, and get a visual feedback of the result, it could be used for generating wallpapers or sigs with your custom mech with ease for example. ( that's why I Created the thread here )
