When I was a kid, my favorite thing to do was build these models.

Best worst mech anime EVA!!!
Koreanime mashed together into one poorly dubbed film that gives up pretty early on trying to have any kind of plot or make any sense

This really isn't a mech cartoon, but the vehicals did transform and the masks are so cool!.... oh man was it a badass show in the 80's and the toy were awesome!

M.A.S.K. (probably the best 80's intro theme song ever.)

Battle of the planets. G-Force.   from the 80's one of the best, it's originally called Gatchaman Science Ninja Team.

I have a bunch of the ROBOTIX building sets. I never knew there was a show along with them, though. They are similar the the Legions of Power sets, also from the 80's that I love so much.

I really wish that there was an American version of Metal Wolf Chaos, I want to play that game so badly! From Software really knows how to do mech games. Chromehounds and Armored Core are so very awesome.

Exteel is actually one of the main reasons I was so excited when I first heard about Hawken. I loved Exteel, and was really disappointed when they shut it down. And Hawken looked to be fairly similar gameplay wise from the initial trailers I saw for it, so I was hoping it would fill the void left by Exteel's demise. And it turned out to be even better that Exteel!

And if you like building Mecha models, you should check out the Kotobukiya Armored Core Variable infinity models. They are not exactly cheap, but they are really nicely detailed, have great articulation, and all their parts are all interchangeable like in the games. They even look quite nice unpainted, because the plastic is molded in nice metallic colors.

I have these two, and several of the weapon kits, and they are awesome.

Tell,

I feel you bro... Man, why do we love mecha so much!

I actually collect, at least used to, mostly Robotech, Here at the ones I have.
They were all really expensive, but Yamato is now the best (I feel) at transforming mecha

I have all four versions of the super Val.

I have all of these.

At the end of the day, I love the mecha that transforms. I can't believe the engineering behind the new toys.
The quality is amazing.

Price is definitely the major limiting factor in my model collection. That is one of the main reasons I like the Gundam HG model kits. They are usually fairly nicely detailed, and only cost $10~$15 most of the time.

I would love to get some of those Veritech models, but they are way out of my price range. I am glad that I got the Revoltech YF-21 a while ago, though. It is non-transformable, but really nicely poseable. And it was not too expensive, either.

I also really want this, but it s still a bit more than I can afford:

Oh I also have these too...
Almost forgot, I have a ton of Gundam action figures, and Dendrobium,
But the third war in robotech is probably my favorite part of the series.
