A few of the crosshairs supplied in the .rar are partially transparent.

Yea, it would be easy to do but the issue is that there is missing those vital secondary and primary weapons reload timers and other functional (at least better) items.

It actually doesn't replace the current crosshair, just lays on top of it...like an overlay. So you still have everything unless you actually cover it up on purpose. And making it transparent would help as you could still see the timers underneath.

Hey everyone!  I've modified the original Hawken crosshair (pre-ascension) to work with the new one.  It looks really good and everything lines up perfectly.  I made the center lines a transparent because they lined up perfectly with the new hit markers.  Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Also, you have to join a Mumble server for the overlay to work, Any server is fine.

thats what im saying, it wont let me go to change avatar if im not connected and when i do nothing shows up :/

Connect to any server.

Go into Mumble configuration, it's the last icon on the right, just underneath the menu bar.

Go down to the last option on the list "Overlay"

Make sure under "Options" the box labeled "Enable Overlay" is checked.

Go to "Self" then "Change Avatar"

Select desired crosshair file.

If that doesn't work idk, not much of an expert on this program.

I just installed TeamSpeak on another computer and it seems to come w/ Overwolf_ which does overlays as well.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use TeamSpeak/Overwolf to render these custom crosshairs_

I like to be in TeamSpeak to see if clanmates are also online.

Sadly OverWolf does not support borderless windows yet, so if you create a crosshair for it it would block the screen (even if it is set to the maximum transparency level). But the developers of OverWolf said they are working on supporting this.

Yeah, they don't show up until you get into the game.  I expected them to show all the time, even in windows but was wrong.  :)

Ropefish, make sure you run mumble and join a mumble server before launching Hawken.

i pick a random packed one, and mute myself and evryone else.. They mostly go like.. the fuzzy bunny is that guy_.. v funny >:3

I picked a test server w/ low ping.  I haven't noticed a spike in Hawken's ping when I use Mumble/TeamSpeak, but I figure why take a chance.
