So, after seeing the new emp I mean it's not new but it's different, do you like it_
Since the ism disruptor came out I didn't like it because I never got to understand how to use it correctly. I always blind myself :S  ( I say this because the emp now is like the ism)
so, what do you think about it, good, bad what do you say _and why do you say it_

I like it.  The arcing projectile adds a little more difficulty, and the huge radius makes it powerful in a team setting, at the cost of being rather dangerous to the user.  It feels like a good way to destroy a deathball with some teamwork.

The detonation radius might be a bit extreme but the new projectile is more interesting than the linear aoe thing we had before. Now you can lob an EMP around cover for some neat plays, and if you want to neutralize a specific target immediately you need to actually land a direct hit (which detonates the projectile instantly), instead of just puking the projectile in their general direction.

The detonation-on-direct-hit helps the ISM Disruptor immensely as well, since it means you can more reliably land those crippling blinds against enemies. In general, I feel like both those items are in an OK spot right now in terms of usability and effectiveness, although as more people start using them perhaps some balance concerns will arise. For now, though, I like the current iterations of the EMP and ISM.

Watching some of the streams, a streamer mentioned how much he loved seeing an enemy group (death ball) scatter when either the ISM or EMP was tossed.  I'd have to agree, it's quite the sight.  The large radius is what scares most to run away, and I would like that factor kept.

I do like the scaring part it helps a lot when you are in a 4vs1 battle, because it gives you a chance to scape or it gives some time for your mates to help you

me gusto el nuevo emp, aunque la primera vez que lo use quede atrapado en el rango, lo subieron arto lol.

Love it. Playing in Uptown and was retreating around a corner because I was being chased my a zerker. I was in a C and knew I wasn't going to get away so I decided to toss an emp with the hopes of buying sometime for me so get away or kill them before they killed me. Well I missed and all I could think to myself was  "I am so fuzzy bunny dead". Then a miracle happened. The emp bounced off the wall back at the zerker, exploded and I was able to kill him.

I LOVE THIS THING NOW!

Like the change, I'm always for highering the skill use of items (the change is also similiar to a suggestion I made awhile ago).

One change I'd like to see is a different beeping for the EMP, perhaps a deeper longer beep.

I like it. If you managed to land a direct hit with it, you will be rewarded much more than with old EMP. And you can disable deathballs now.

Unfortunately the maps are built by 6 year olds with legos, so tactical bouncing of the ISM, Rev-GL, or new EMP are practically impossible. Irregular terrain and jutting corners ftw.

I think it's great for breaking up deathballs, properly timed, and difficult to use in 1v1. it's a great space clearer and can turn a fight with a well placed/lucky shot. Good fun, well done devs.

that's definatly not true, maps in hawken are really great, besides tactical bouncing is completly possible

Not gonna lie, I preferred using the old EMP... because it was so much easier.
Point, click.  I pretty much stopped using them now.
