Since the patch, it has become impossible together longer matches / battles. the new model is HP so blatantly changed that to make a man against man fight won't be long enough can carry out without it fun makes! What were the designers thinking_ If I want to quickly die then I play insurgency (hardcore low hp shooter). In hawken, I wanted a new type try. I have always liked Mech shooter. but since the last steam patch, reminded me the game more and more on an extreme trimmer turbo game.
I am already level 20 but I see a big drawback for the beginners community, since these are inexperienced and need to get only it has been a very bad idea that HP put down to.

Some of my friends have risen from so out of the game because they had no chance against others.

This is my opinion, which is your_    Sorry about the bad English. I used a translator.

Hi, you are talking about the new TTK (time to kill). There are already lots of threads about this topic:

Honestly, it is more balanced now, for the most part. While the TTK is still a little too short IMO, it does encourage group play far more than the old system. The flak scout (and other A mechs) are glass cannons, gaining most of their survivability from sneak attacks, dodging, and raw speed. More time will tell, but Hawken is starting to really feel good again, and engagements aren't so frustrating now.

hmm but when i play with 4 players on a server and one is a Type c and launches it hellfires against me, i´m directly at 50% or lower (playing berserker)...and it follows a seeker shot DEAD! no fun, no skill to have and the weapons didn´t got a change

Perhaps, but then you need to watch for those Hellfires. Maybe they need a minor balancing pass-through again, but you should try to dodge those, not just tank them anymore. If all of them hit you, yea it hurts. But if you dodge them only one or two should hit you, and the damage from each individual rocket isn't quite high enough to not be manageable. So that promotes skill, and is a good thing, at least at the moment.

Here, check out the official weapon stat spreadsheet: http://i.imgur.com/OCSYi2l.png

Hellfires: 6 missiles, at 18.5 dmg each, comes out to a total of 111 dmg, on a mech that has ~300 hp_ Simple solution is don't get hit :P

Level dosen't mean very much, sometimes even innacurate. Pubstoping in a scout at level 17 isn't too hard with so many snipers on the field.

Not everyone bothers to level up as fast as possible.

Running directly to/from sniper fire means you'll die tired. Taking cover gives (Ke-)Sabot time to reload.
Someone elses data of Hawken gear/mechs | and another one

aaand the voice of reall newbie here :P (started to playing like yesterday - long story to tell)

about hellfire - I had a chance of trying a while with a rocketeer.... (test drive or somethink like that) and imo it does requires some skills to operate on certain level (my overal kd ratio is just below 1, but on mech I think I will play a mots its just above 1 - reason_ tried a phew matches in rocketeer :P)

PS. at th moment when I see "incoming" on UI I use my thrusters to get asap behind some wall and hope that I picked up right wall :D
