I think there are quite a few of us who think that the Bunker map doesn't seem to fit with all the others.

One of these maps is not like the others, one of these maps is not quite the same.

So I was thinking of a small redesign.

How about adding an underground section to it. There are closed doorways in the bunker and what look like other closed off doorways on other parts of the map. These could be opened up and we could have some tunnels leading too and from the main part of the bunker.

We could have corners and obstacles to add cover, maybe even some large rooms or a power core.

What do you think_

We need the bunker part to be actually a bunker!  If they expand on the underground stuff, that'd be pretty fun to play in.  And it would level out the playing field against snipers and lolfires.

i haven't played the map yet, but im pretty sure the bunker should be open

I like the map, Is designed for fast and short combats, and helps to take the game to the direction that Devs are trying to proppose since the steam update: Less Class A, more intelligent use of each mess type and inteligent movement across the map (Using the few cover spots and using the high/ low areas with a good strategy. Personally, I find quite fun and challenging the matchs, I see muche less scouts and berserker going leeroy jenkins to flee victorious, and Is really nice to see that people is learning to think before shoot.

That's ok, took me ages before I got to play on it too. When I saw it load, I thought it was going to be a lot bigger with a lot more cover. I have to say that I struggle on this map. It seems to be full of Rocketeers, Reapers and Sharpshooters. If you choose something else, at least in my experience, you might as well just quit.

I think that if they added an underground section, it would make it a much better map.

Hi guys!

Though i really like the new Bunker map as a challenge, i would deem it quite interesting to have an underground section as well.
My main concern would be about the size and layout of the "cellar".
One floor or more_ Ramps and jumppads or something entirely new like an open cargo lift etc_
The Bunker map is great as it is now, but a subterranean lair underneath could either add immersion, or ruin the gameplay because the teams would be spread too thin.
What i could think of: Create a multi-layer DM-only option for Bunker where you have tunnels and everything, a:) just because you can, Devs - and b:) because DM-players surely like the thrill of peeking around a corner and seeing the barrel of a gun right in their face^^

If you do this right, it could become a future candidate for the destructible maps!

Guys, seriously... I´m sorry to inform you about this, but...this is not going to happen, I wish most of you have Level and game Design knowledge, but this map is designed to be as it is, is a diferent map, you should addapt to it and do a smart use of your mech variety. is not hard to understand that an underground section will create a series of issues with the map, even more than solve the "supposed" issues the map has. I feel all the hate to the SS, Reaper and Hellfires mechs since the last patch, but as I always say, instead of complain about the mech you hate and annoys you, damn, get your fuzzy bunny together and learn to FUZZY BUNNY move across the goddamn map,  take advantage of your mech strongest points!, use the flaws of the other mechs at your favor, make them feel useless piloting rocketeer/reaper/SS. if you´re unable to flank a SS with your beloved Infiltrator, or your Scout while it is lurking the open spaces from behind a small coverpoint, you deserve to be destroyed in the most horrible way possible, Game and Level design is complicated fuzzy bunny, I wish it was just that simple:  "plz add a hallway were i can hide, lol", "I die a lot trying to go leeroy jenkins against two rocketeers, plz add a barrier here or nerf them or raise the armor of mah scout, lmao", let the devs to their work. Damn.

Seriously!  I agree with StephenHawkin.

If an underground map were to come out, I bet people will start complaining about needing some breathing space for rocketeers, bruisers, snipers, and reapers.

If you're in a fight with an opponent in a ring, do you see them say, "Unfair!", build this here so I can X_  Make this there so I can Y_  You deal with it with what you got.  Variety is the spice of life.  If you don't like that map, don't play it, or choose another mech that is better on a particular map.

actually imo bunke is good as it is - Im playing mostly vanguard and ofc bunker is full of rocketeers and snipers and hellfires etc. but still good team that uses that so litle cover you have properly can do well even without rocketeers and snipers (f.e You can use hills to get unnoticed in cqc with backs of all those rocketeers and snipers :D)
