Reading this update more advice comes up to mind concerning communication from the dev.

Its nice that you announce the changes upcoming with the new patch however personally i find these statements shallow. I find they aren't satisfying my never ending hunger for transparency and honesty from the devs. Why_ Because these changes seem to have no purpose. Of course the changes to matchamking obviously have a purpose. But what is the devs intention with the changes to speed_ Are they blindly obeying to the vocal community or does it fit in their (unheard) master plan for hawken. A handfull of weapons are being balanced. Ok but not only do i want to know how (i will find out in patch notes) but i want to learn why.

Why do i want to know these things_ Because it gives a sense of context in the greater scheme of things. Posting changes in such a superficial way make it seem like they have no rhyme or reason to them.

It doesn't push the community to have constructive discussions on how to improve the game so we can match the devs vision with the players vision because we're missing half of the picture. If the changes are passable then it quells the QQ for a few weeks until something else breaks, but if they aren't (like they often are) it creates a state of alarm and the feedback can be nothing but negative.

And finally I'm glad you've addressed the removal of the early access banner. However it doesn't address your initial claims and what has changed so much that Q1 isn't your goal anymore.

Functionally is exactly the same, patch notes draft as of yesterday had an error which was corrected with today's post.
