DerMax is not American, and this challenge is not an event you need to participate in the same time as others you see.

Yes it is, we just aren't all together on a server. Remember, "the winner is "the first person to post a video".

My point is that when the challenge is posted, anybody who is asleep or at work is under a severe handicap, compared to the people whose timezones place them at home at their gaming PC.

Valid points, maybe it would be better to change the rules  so people send video links in pm, and later everything is revealed. If after 24hours there are several people who  found place wins the one who gets there faster (counting after respawn,  could make epic comparison  split screen videos)

Diary Entry #2

We located the deposit the same day we deployed, on the outskirts of Bazaar, near the ancient ruins. Unfortunately, it was completely depleted. The mine seemed to be operational, yet we couldn't find any signs of life around, not even a fly. The machinery looked as if it were abandoned in haste; tools were scattered around. Something awful happened here, or so it seems.

As we were getting ready to report the find, all communication stopped working. It was being jammed, and the source, the engineers said, was sitting on top of the western communication pillar.

Well, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Let's climb this thing and see what it is!

The virus that struck the top half of the comm pillar is spreading like lightning! Fuzzy bunny! And I've only one barricade left...
